Being involved with IDAL and attending the national convention, we have been intorduced some of the top talents.

During our chapter meetings we have worked on a variety of surfaces including glass, moldings, and stepping stones just to name a few.  Other hands on projects have included wood graining, plaster work, decorative finishes, and mural work.  We have had guest artist and speakers including Jennifer Carasco and Fred Oldfield.

As a chapter we decided to take some of the skills we have learned over the years and work on a completed panel.  In 2009 & 2010 we worked on a portion of this project at our chapter meeting.  Skills include decorative paint finishes, transferring designs and maul sticks, shadows and highlights, and some gold leafing.  It was a great learning experience and a great way to use what ee have learned.
